Poppy's Bagel and Bakery is a new and growing organic bagel shop and bakery in Waterloo, ON. We are passionate about customer service and putting out great product. We are looking for a team member to join our team and help us grow.

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and cold beverages as needed.
- Assisting with the brewing of espresso drinks.
- Assisting with the preparation of food items such as baked goods or pastries where needed.
- Cleaning up food waste and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen area.
- Restocking all supplies and equipment.
- Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers, customers, clients, and clients by being courteous, friendly, helpful, timely, and respectful.
- Maintaining a high level of quality service to guests and team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management

**Experience Requirements**: 1-2 years’ experience in a food service environment preferred.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

- Waterloo, ON N2J 2W9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
