Lead Carpenter

_LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION LEAD CARPENTER_

**Responsibilities**:

- Building Pergolas, Cabanas, Decks, Fences, Privacy Screens and Custom Designs.
- Install pressure-treated, cedar and vinyl materials
- Framing and Finishing Skills
- Conform to Building Code
- Understand blueprints and drawings
- Ability to calculate, measure, cut, shape materials
- Work in various weather conditions *heat/humidity *cold *rain *dust *noise etc.

Qualifications:

- Positive attitude, hard-working, reliable, efficient, presentable, works well in a team environment
- Safety conscientious; safe operation of equipment, vehicles, and tools at all times
- Experience with hand and power tools for carpentry
- Excellent work ethic and punctuality
- Attention to detail
- Capable of physical labor
- Strong communication skills
- Clean Class G with driver's abstract
- 2-4 years’ experience
- Self-starter

Wages based on experience

**Salary**: $28.00-$33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hagersville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 3 years (required)
