**Mission**:
**Responsibilities**:

- ESG Strategy Development: Conduct research and analysis to identify relevant ESG trends, benchmarks, and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote understanding and awareness of ESG principles. Foster relationships with investors, clients, regulatory bodies, and industry peers to stay informed about ESG expectations and collaborate on sustainability initiatives.
- ESG Reporting and Disclosure: Oversee the preparation and delivery of ESG reports and disclosures. Ensure compliance with relevant reporting frameworks and standards, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, or industry-specific guidelines. Key performance indicators (KPIs): measure and track our ESG progress.
- ESG Risk Assessment: Conduct ESG risk assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities related to environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance. Provide recommendations and guidance on risk mitigation strategies and sustainable business practices. For internal and external customers.
- ESG Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into various business functions, including investment decision-making, supply chain management, product development, and corporate governance. Advise on ESG criteria for vendor selection, investment opportunities, and business partnerships.
- ESG Training and Education: Develop and deliver ESG training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of sustainability principles. Foster an ESG culture within the organization by promoting engagement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
- Industry Monitoring and Benchmarking: Stay abreast of emerging ESG trends, regulations, and industry practices. Conduct benchmarking analyses to compare our ESG performance against peers and identify areas for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, accounting with sustainability, environmental management, business, and finance training with a minimum of 5 years proven experience working in ESG, sustainability, or related fields. Experience within a corporate setting or consulting firm will be a considerable asset.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and industry-specific guidelines and familiarity with ESG data providers, rating agencies, and investor expectations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex ESG data and trends and strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ESG concepts to diverse audiences.
- Bilinguism - French & English
- to be able to communicate with colleagues in the Province of Quebec and throughout Canada.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with different teams and stakeholders and knowledge of relevant environmental, social, and governance regulations and practices.
- Professional certifications in sustainability, such as GRI or SASB, are a plus but not conditional.
