**Survey Technician**:
Musselwhite

**Purpose**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Mark-up and grade control of active headings (MOSS assisted)
- Creates and maintains as-built survey data in Deswik suite
- Generates driving prints for development headings
- Mark-up of production drill designs
- Conducts cavity monitoring surveys (CMS) of excavations
- Utilization of surface and underground drones
- Underground production hole survey (Boretrak)
- Use of electronic total station instruments and data collectors
- Surface surveying with differential GPS systems
- Prepares month-end and survey reports

**Requirements**:

- Relevant survey experience and a working knowledge of underground mining environment
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office required
- Knowledge of Deswik software an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills, able to work independently
- Ability to frequently lift, carry and push 35 kg
- Ability to frequently reach below and at-shoulder level
- Underground experience is an asset
- Ability to utilize drones is an asset
- Strong commitment to working in a safe, socially responsible manner
- Experience working in a culturally diverse environment an asset
- Ability to work with and share information with team members and other reliant departments

**Working Conditions**:
The work schedule for this position is 14 on, 14 days off, working 12-hour days.
