**ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP (ENTR) DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW**:
The ENTR department embodies four values:

- Removing barriers manifested through the adoption of universal design for learning (UDL) practices, open education resources (OER), and open pedagogy.
- Social consciousness manifested through the integration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) throughout our program.
- Teaching excellence manifested through continued learning, collaboration, and a willingness to adopt innovative pedagogical approaches.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The BBA Entrepreneurial Leadership program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University is seeking one (1) NR2 100% full-time faculty member to teach various business courses in support of our Bachelor of Business Administration (“BBA”) Entrepreneurial Leadership program.

Though we will qualify the successful applicant for all courses they possess qualifications to teach, specific courses of immediate interest include the following.

ENTR 1100: Entrepreneurial inquiry

Entrepreneurial leaders are problem solvers, passionate about what they do. They inspire others to unite in this passion and create ways to collectively realize meaningful change. Becoming such a leader starts with understanding your entrepreneurial passion. In this course, students will explore their skills, motivators and interests as they relate to entrepreneurial thinking, in order to define their entrepreneurial identity. They will establish their entrepreneurial context through identification and investigation of their entrepreneurial areas of interest and world view.
- A record of teaching excellence, inclusive teaching practices, and engagement in professional development in adult education or instruction is required.
- Business ownership, consulting experience, and/or senior-level management experience is required.
- Preferred - A demonstrated ability to engage students (or ‘stakeholders’) from a variety of academic disciplines/background
- Preferred - Experience facilitating both in-person and online curricula.
- Preferred - Experience with or interest in an ‘ungrading’ assessment approach.
- Preferred - Experience working with first-year students and/or those who are new to the Canadian educational system.

ENTR 1200: Introduction to entrepreneurship

This course introduces students to entrepreneurship as an approach to life and to create their own careers. Through foundational concepts and frameworks, this course examines entrepreneurship as a process including entrepreneurial identity, opportunity creation and evaluation, mobilizing resources, and growth.
