Manitoba Health is seeking to fill multiple positions for the Registration and Client Services Representative role (Regular, Term and Bilingual Regular) for the Insured Benefits Branch. This branch is responsible for determining client eligibility for insured benefits programs, registering clients and responding to customer inquiries by providing information by telephone, in person and through written correspondence on matters relating to the registration for Manitoba Health Benefits.
Conditions of Employment:

Qualifications:
**Essential**:
- Experience providing information and answering inquiries by phone and in person in a client service environment.
- Experience performing administrative or clerical tasks including data entry, typing documents, preparing reports, and answering phones.
- Strong customer service skills to manage client expectations and provide courteous and respectful support.
- Strong verbal communication skills (Bilingual applicants will be assessed in French and English).
- Strong written communication skills (Bilingual applicants will be assessed in French and English).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
**Desired**:
- Knowledge of the Health Services Act.
**Duties**:
Reporting to the Unit Supervisor, Registration and Client Services Representatives are responsible for determining client eligibility for Insured Benefits Programs, registering clients in programs and responding to client inquiries on matters relating to registration, claims and other insured programs administered by Manitoba Health. This position works with and ensures compliance with various Acts and Regulations such as the Canada Health Act, the Manitoba Health Services Insurance Act, the Interprovincial Agreement on Eligibility and Portability, the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
