Vintage Hotels is currently looking for a Full time Food and Beverage Supervisor/Sommelier to join our growing team

Situated in the heart of Niagara, this is a unique opportunity to take on supervisory duties while also working as a Sommelier This is a perfect opportunity for those who enjoy variety and a chance to gain experience in one of our luxury properties

**What you'll be doing**:

- Maintain and facilitate the wine program for the Restaurant and BQ functions
- Facilitate private wine tastings for groups and guests.
- Monthly inventory and assisting with sales reports
- Supervise dining room setup
- Responsible for group billing
- Ability to resolve guest and team member complaints
- To maximize all beverage sales through promotions and server participation.
- To keep overhead down without being detrimental to the business
- To assist in the carrying out of training sessions relating to wine service, company wide when required
- Orders products

**What you'll bring to the team**:

- Previous hotel experience, gained in premium Food & Beverage outlets/facilities.
- Solid technical knowledge of food and wine.
- Several wine courses and sommelier training.
