*Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance to individuals in need. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those requiring support. *Responsibilities* - Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or care facilities - Assist with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and dressing - Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation - Support individuals with dementia care and other specialized needs - Assist with mobility and perform heavy lifting when necessary - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses, to ensure the well-being of clients - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in hospice care or nursing homes *Experience* - Prior experience in home care, caregiving, or senior care is preferred - Knowledge of hospice care and dementia care practices is a plus - Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs - Experience in meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks is beneficial - Background as a nurse or familiarity with nursing procedures is advantageous Join our team as a Support Worker and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for those in need of care and assistance.
