The Lycée Français de Toronto (LFT) is an educational institution enrolling 520 students of 30 nationalities from Petite Section to Terminale (Pre K- Gr 12), offering a French Ministry of Education program up to the French Baccalauréat. The LFT is an active member of AEFE (Agence pour l'Enseignement du Français à l'Etranger), a unique educational network comprising over 539 schools in 140 countries.

The school is located at 2327 Dufferin Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

**Positioning and challenges**

Reporting to the Finance and Administration Director.

Administrative staff on local contracts not covered by collective contract.

The financial analyst, payroll and operations officer acts in compliance with the operating rules of a French school, as well as with Ontario regulations.

**Job description**

**Finance**
- Development and implementation of management and monitoring tools, procedures and verification of their correct use
- Bank reconciliation and accounts receivable reconciliation
- Monitoring discrepancies between forecast and actual targets, and proposing corrective action where necessary.
- File preparation and family billing follow-up (EFT)
- Support for finance team or departments in all related activities and various analyses as required (including labor costs)
- Handling government imperatives
- Help with finance and accounting for back-to-school orders

Set up Veracross for all finance functions (extracurricular, admissions, fundraising, etc.) Produce reports on LFT activities (clubs, school trips, camps) and monitor reconciliation Training teams in Veracross technical functions (fundraising, extra sco, finance)

**Payroll**
- Supporting the HR manager throughout the payroll process.

**Operations**
- Monitoring of supplier and stakeholder contracts
- LFT Shop Manager

**Expected skills**
- Bachelor in finance and accounting
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a similar position

Excellent command of Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite Mastery of Veracross is an asset
- Efficient, methodical and rigorous
- Great adaptability and willingness to learn
- Level B1 in French is an asset
- Availability, autonomy, dynamism
- Able to take initiative and plan his activity.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Discretion and confidentiality
