**Position Title**:Finance Clerk

**Summary**:
The role will report to the CEO and Director of Finance. Responsible for supporting the accounting and financial reporting process of Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home and Elderly Persons Housing apartment block. Assisting with accounts payable, bank deposits, petty cash, and various administrative support tasks (copying, scanning, minutes, room bookings, etc).

**Requirements**:

- High school graduate and proficient in office skills.
- Fully competent in MS Office programs including; Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Great Plains software, and knowledge of QHR software is a definite asset.
- Knowledge of HEBP/HEPP, WCB, MPI, EI employment and benefit reports.
- Must have a pleasant personality with the ability to greet the public in a courteous, tactful and diplomatic manner.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling information that is confidential and sensitive in nature.
- Performs duties efficiently and independently in a team environment, meeting deadlines.
- Able to prioritize work, flexibility, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships, manage conflict and embrace change.
