Mechatronics Trainee

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
It is to work with a creative and multidisciplinary team to create, evaluate and test innovative concepts that can then be developed and produced by Soucy subsidiaries. Our team projects itself into the future every day by delving into new agricultural technologies, industrial equipment, motorsports and value creation.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Creating innovative products
- Participating in creativity, ideation and problem solving sessions
- Developing prototypes and proof of concepts using mechatronic solutions
- Inspiring other team members on the possibilities of mechatronic systems, new technologies and artificial intelligence
- Perform calculations and selection of electrical components
- Program microcontrollers
- Follow the manufacturing of prototypes and participate in physical testing
- Prepare technical documents and reports
- Work in a team with different stakeholders: engineers, technicians, industrial designers, marketing analysts, prototypists, production employees

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- You are currently studying for a bachelor's degree in robotics engineering, mechanical engineering in mechatronics/robotics or automated production engineering
- Basic knowledge of electronic, analog and digital circuits and electrical systems.
- Strong interest in mechatronic systems and programming
- Ability to communicate and explain work
- Ability to analyze, synthesize and solve problems
- If you are familiar with the agricultural or motorsports field, even better
