Plumber/pipefitter

VIS Mechanical Ltd is looking for a full-time **Plumber / Pipefitter **to join our team in Victoria, BC.

We are looking for multiple individuals who are self-motivated, organized, and have the ability to work independently. This position is responsible for installing and maintaining water and sewer systems, drainage, and finishing fixtures. in residential and commercial properties, We are also Searching for one general foreman.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install water and/or sewer lines in residential and commercial structures
- Connect gas lines
- Install drainage piping system 15, and cast iron
- Install water softeners and other plumbing fixtures
- Troubleshoot problems with water systems, as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance and install plumbing fixtures, pipes, and lines
- Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the safe use of machinery in a commercial setting

**Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a plumber or pipefitter on commercial plumbing sites, or as a residential services technician.
- Knowledge of water distribution systems, water softeners, water heaters, water pressure regulators, water disposal systems, water treatment methods, and other related plumbing systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize them appropriately.
- Great communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.

**Salary**: $35.00-$65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Plumbing: 2 years (required)
