We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our corporate finance team as Manager, Insurance & Treasury, within our Winnipeg Office.

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance & Treasury, this full-time, permanent position offers a thrilling opportunity to oversee our corporate insurance program and spearhead essential treasury functions. From managing credit facilities and letters of credit to optimizing cash flow and navigating foreign exchange, you'll be at the forefront of financial strategy, making a real impact on our organization's success. - **What You’ll Do**
- Lead the charge in managing our corporate-wide insurance program, ensuring every aspect is meticulously covered:

- Serve as the go-to internal insurance resource, maintaining thorough coverages and optimal policy limits.
- Collaborate closely with brokers to assess contractual insurance requirements, ensuring alignment with our insurance portfolio.
- Provide expert oversight on claims processing, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Oversee our debt management, including borrowings and repayments, as well as monitoring quarterly and annual compliance with credit facilities.
- Manage cash management functions including cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange and preparation of the daily cash report.
- Manage our surety program by maintaining strong relationships with partners while meeting our contractual requirements.
- Take ownership of letters of credit issuance and EDC facility, ensuring smooth operations and contractual compliance.
- Oversee our existing bank account services and signatories, ensuring operational efficiency and security.
- Champion the seamless integration of newly acquired entities into our insurance and treasury programs, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with our financial objectives.

- A hands-on individual who isn’t afraid to roll-up their sleeves to get things done
- Inquisitive with a strong desire to understand how things work
- Detail-oriented with outstanding problem-solving skills
- Strong communicator, with exceptional interpersonal abilities, fostering seamless collaboration and rapport across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills, adept at executing multiple projects and integrating them seamlessly into broader operations
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

**What You’ll Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of corporate insurance and treasury experience, preferably multi-national
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and procedures, with experience in property and casualty insurance, liability insurance, and other insurance lines.
- Broad hands-on corporate treasury experience, with exposure to credit agreements, debt instruments, cash management and LOC’s & bonds
- Prior experience with government procurement is a plus
