Position Overview:
ParaMed is currently accepting resumes from Personal Support Workers (PSW) and other healthcare equivalencies. ParaMed Personal Support Workers travel within a designated geography to provide individualized care to patients within a community setting. If you are seeking a rewarding career offering one on one patient care and opportunity to practice full-scope personal support services, we want to hear from you

Locations: London
- Middlesex County

**Requirements**:

- PSW Certificate or equivalent healthcare education in a related field
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate compassion, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with patients and their families
- Experience working with acutely ill, chronically ill, or palliative clients is considered a strong asset
- The ability to commit to working a set schedule including every other weekend
- A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and a willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area is required
- ParaMed recognizes the importance of immunization to protect our patients and team members from Covid-19. A condition of employment with ParaMed is that all new hires receive all required doses of a Covid 19 vaccine approved by Health Canada

** Must be able to commit to attending orientation for 1 week during business hours **
