Job Overview

As an MDF Door Sander in our team, you will play a key role in ensuring our door products achieve the highest standard of surface smoothness and are prepared for final finishing. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced individual who not only has a strict standard for detail but can also maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carefully sand MDF doors using a variety of handheld and stationary sanding machinery to remove any imperfections or unevenness, ensuring a smooth surface.

Select appropriate sanding tools and materials based on work orders and quality requirements.

After sanding, inspect the surface quality of the doors to ensure they meet the company's high standards.

Maintain sanding equipment to ensure proper operation and peak efficiency.

Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure personal and team member safety.

Collaborate with the finishing team as needed to prepare doors for final coating.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, with specific experience in sanding MDF materials preferred.

Proficient in using various sanding tools and techniques.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to read and understand work orders.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

Must be able to work while standing for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices.

**Salary**: $16.55-$27.89 per hour
