**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Co-Chair the Joint Health and Safety Committee to ensure a proactive approach is taken by all members**:

- ** Coordinate H & S training for all levels as required.**:

- **Take part in selecting / accepting volunteers for committee and coordinate Health and Safety training as required for them.**:

- ** Ensure that committee conducts inspections monthly.**:

- ** Hold monthly meetings.**
- **Review and update Health and Safety procedures.**:

- ** Ensure the Contractor Management Program is adhered to and associated documents are retrieved. Oversee the orientation program for contractors.**:

- **Develop/modify Health and Safety Training programs and teach in-house. Follow-up sessions to take place, where appropriate, for each job / department.**:

- **Maintain and update Health and Safety Orientation Program and conduct Orientation and WHMIS training for all existing employees as well as all new hires.**:

- **Maintain the Emergency Response, Machine Entrapment, and Fire Safety Plan Programs and provide training when necessary.**:

- ** Conduct occupational hygiene assessments and ensure air and noise sampling is conducted when required.**:

- **Conduct Accident investigations and ensure full closure of action items.**

**Key Responsibilities Cont'd**:

- ** Co-Chair the Ergonomics Committee alongside the Engineering Manager. Ensure ergonomic assessments and improvements are conducted on time. Report the Ergonomic metrics quarterly to Magna.**:

- ** Conduct Respirator Fit Testing when necessary.**:

- ** Liaison with Management pertaining to Health and Safety issues.**:

- **Ensure all employees adhere to applicable legislative requirements.**:

- **Develop preventative procedures / methods to reduce and / or eliminate health and safety accidents.**:

- **Oversee Magna inspections/audits action plans.**:

- ** Conduct annual ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management System Internal Audits.**:

- ** Coordinate with Engineers and Management to ensure Pre-start Health and Safety reviews are completed.**:

- **Assist with coordinating construction projects.**:

- ** Update lockout procedures when necessary.**

**Key Responsibilities Cont'd**:

- ** Conduct safety reviews, create risk assessments and associated work instructions of work cells.**:

- ** Maintain the SDS database. Route new or updated SDS’s to appropriate personnel to keep them well informed.**:

- **Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.**:

- ** Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook.**:

- ** Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.**:

- ** Any other reasonable request made by Management.**:

- **Able to work flexible hours, must provide coverage to all shifts on a regular basis.**
- **Assists with Rollstamp’s Return to Work Program.**:

- **Develop preventative procedures / methods to reduce or eliminate accidents.**:

- **Remain well versed with any changes in Legislation and associated Standards. Notify appropriate personnel of these changes.**:

- ** Conduct safety reviews, create risk assessments and associated work instructions of work cells.**:

- ** Maintain the SDS database. Route new or updated SDS’s to appropriate personnel to keep them well informed.**:

- **Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.**:

- ** Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook.**:

- ** Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.**:

- ** Any other reasonable request made by Management.**:

- **Able to work flexible hours, must provide coverage to all shifts on a regular basis.**

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- ** College Diploma or University Degree.**:

- **8-10 years in the Health, Safety field.**:

- **Must be fluent in English (both verbal and written).**:

- ** Able to work with minimum supervision.**:

- **Thorough understanding of conducting risk assessments.**:

- ** Detailed understanding in paint and welding processes, robotic systems, injection moulding, roll forming, stamping, assembly, aluminum extrusion, CNC, tool and die machine shops, and forklifts.**:
