**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**This position resides in Toronto, ON and is a 4 month work term commencing in May 2023. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.**

As a member of IBM’s Consulting business, you will focus on partnering with our Insurance clients. You will be a core member of the team working to transform the industry through enablement of data and digital capabilities to modernize customer interactions and back-office operations.

Your day-to-day will involve working within a team to deliver to client outcomes, assist our practice in pursuing sales opportunities and contributing to our brand eminence as thought leaders via research and publication on relevant industry trends

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Data Analysis (e.g., data modelling, risk modelling)
- Business Analysis
- Financial analysis
- Presentation skills
- Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in May 2023

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Relevant academic background in understanding of business concepts, Actuarial Science or technology (e.g., engineering, computer science)
- Consulting experiences an asset (year 3 students)
- Project management
