We are looking for a **QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST**

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
This position acts as a key resource working closely with all departments, customers and third party inspectors to identify and resolve specific project quality requirements and issues, along with following up on corrections to verify the effectiveness of solutions resulting from non-conformances. The position overview is to be used as a guideline only and may not incorporate all functions of the job.
- Organize and locate all required information to complete the data packages for contracts
- Communicating with customers, suppliers and third party representatives
- Organize, inspect and manage calibrated tooling and equipment and certificates
- Launch, maintain, and communicate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and NCR Logs
- Scan and file Final Inspection Reports (FIR) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Assist in process implementation and improvement relating to quality control activities
- Launch and maintain Corrective Actions Reports (CAR) and CAR Logs
- Audit internal processes and procedures and external suppliers
- Hold and maintain meeting minutes for communication of the quality management system (ISO 9001)
- Support and maintenance of the Quality Management System including document control,
- Assist Engineering, Quality, and Production departments when and where required

**ATTRIBUTES WE SEEK**
- Industrial Engineering Technology diploma
- Training in ISO, and/or Quality Management Programs
- Experience in manufacturing environment an asset
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Experience in troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis
- Professional communicator who can influence and lead colleagues
- Work in a co-operative group atmosphere
