International Student Finance Officer

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Preparing, distributing, and collecting payments for all international students
- Posting payments to international student accounts
- Handling account inquiries and discrepancies from stakeholders and students
- Supporting year-end reconciliation processes and procedures
- Prepare and formalize student payment plans
- Complete scholarship assessment, review, and posting to student accounts
- Process refunds and e-transfers through vendor systems
- Assist with responding to various student and stakeholder inquires in shared inboxes
- Act as front line in person support for student inquires on campus
- Complete international insurance review and order each term

**Qualifications**:

- Two (2) year diploma in Office Administrative Executive Coop, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, International Business, Business or similar field of study
- Two (2) years accounting experience with proficiency in a computerized accounting system including some cross-cultural or intercultural work or personal experience
- Thorough knowledge of working papers, account analysis & GAPP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word
- Demonstrated communication, organizational and prioritizing skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills working with diverse clientele with demonstrated intercultural competency skills
