Registered Energy Advisor Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Energy Advisor to conduct EnerGuide home evaluations and energy modelling services in accordance with NRCan’s policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
This role entails frequent travel to various locations both on and off Vancouver Island, to perform EnerGuide home evaluations to both new construction and existing homes/buildings. The individual must demonstrate exceptional communication and a positive attitude with homeowners, builders and co-workers, and must be well
- versed in:

- Mapping and measuring the home/building’s building envelope (windows, doors, ceiling, walls, and foundation);
- Identifying insulation levels throughout all areas of the home/building;
- Recording the size and efficiency ratings of space heating, space cooling and water heating equipment;
- Noting the home/building’s ventilation equipment;
- Testing for air tightness via use of a blower door test;
- Energy modelling, report development, and advising the client of recommended and effective upgrades within their budget.

Requirements and Qualifications
- NRCan-registered Energy Advisor with 1+ year(s) experience.
- Up-to-date criminal record check.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable drivers abstract.
- Have your own vehicle & insurance for work purposes.
- The ability to carry/climb ladders, maneuver oneself into tight spaces, as well as lift 50 pounds.

Expectations
- Develop fluency with the federal, municipal, and provincial rebates as well as the Canada Greener Homes Loan and all processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and partners as well as co-workers.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
