We are looking for experienced delivery drivers who can provide first-rate friendly customer service while handling everyday operations of being “your own boss”.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accept and fulfill assigned delivery orders within the client’s requested timeframe.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, to ensure the completion of assigned deliveries.
- You are responsible for the efficiency and planning of your own routes.
- Attempt to resolve any delivery-related issues independently before involving Runnr dispatch.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while representing Runnr Delivery.
- As an Owner Operator and Independent Worker, it is your responsibility to cover and manage everything required to fulfill your duties. This includes, but is not limited to, expenses such as licenses, WCB, and operational costs.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be a licensed owner-operator with appropriate vehicle for the role.
- Proven track record of reliable and safe driving practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the initiative to address issues independently.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.

**Requirements**:

- 18 years of age or older
- Newer iPhone or Android smartphone with sufficient data plan.
- Proficient with technology and able to learn new systems.
- Lift up to 60 lbs
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 3 years+ driving experience
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Vehicle appropriate to the role, as shown above.

**Background Screening**:

- Criminal record check
- Clean driving record (drivers abstract)
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid vehicle insurance (Commercial Insurance Policy)
- GST Number Required
- Proof of WCB Coverage
- Proof of appropriate vehicle in good working and visual condition.
- All vehicles being used need to be pre-approved prior to hiring.

**Owner-operator **means a person who owns/leases and operates equipment used to provide services under contract to a business or another individual.

**Independent worker** is a proprietorship, partnership, or corporation that:

- Is operating in a mandatory industry.
- Supplies their own work under a contract for service, and
- Does not hire a worker(s).
