**Position**: Trainer

**Shift**: Between Monday - Saturday, flexible timing based on training needs.

**Pay**: $24.50 per hour.

**Primary Purpose**: Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Operations Training Lead role is to co-ordinate and supervise shifts as required, develop and maintain site’s training programs, train and onboard new employees, support and further develop the sites QA program. This role is extremely hands on as individual will be training on all key job functions, managing performance during onboarding ramp up as well as developing documentation that supports new QA requirements for the building
- Organize and lead the focus on improved productivity levels in a manner that first stresses effectiveness by improving processes and secondly stresses the efficiency of associate work
- Deliver associate onboarding and training for all job functions
- Maintain Train the trainer status for MHE and develop best practices and improvements to safety training and site SOP’s
- Provide technical writing resources to ensure accurate Work Instructions are developed and maintained for all processes
- Ensure all regulatory and customer safety requirements are incorporated into company policies and associates are appropriately trained
- Develop and implement new training and documentation in order to improve the Site’s compliance as outlined in the site SOP’s and quality assurance, GMP’s and safety guidelines
- Develop, coordinate, and/or conduct job-specific and process training programs to ensure associates are trained on their job functions
- Manage procedure development and ensure document control standards are in place and maintained
- Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and effectively implemented (i.e. accounting, operational, safety, regulatory and administrative)
- Ensure the associates have proper access to the necessary tools/equipment to perform their assigned duties and that the tools/equipment are routinely inspected and maintained
- Further develop facility maintenance and sanitation programs in support of Health Canada requirements
- Maximize quality and productivity by understanding job standards for each function, and evaluating performance variances in order to identify root cause and corrective action
- Supervise operational shifts on a weekly basis, including execution of tasking and dock office job functions
- Ensure/assist Shift / Daily / Weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished (i.e. staffing, equipment and space)
- Participate in the completion of workshop action plans, projects and best practice sharing/implementation
- **Must be available to work any shift schedule as required**

**Role Purpose**:
Training and evaluation of associates on MHE and classroom instructions.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Present training to associates and effectively communicate will all Associates
- Evaluate Associates RPM on ramp up form and create steps for success
- Assist with creating work reference guide.
- Effective initial training and cross training of associates and outside workers (Labor Share Associates, vendors, etc.)
- Support operations as needed by leadership
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Certify Associates for MHE
- Actively participate in the YOBE process
- Create system login for all Associates (SeeIT, JDA, etc.)
- Updating on company goals and procedures.
- Identify training needs
- Conduct BBS observations
- Participate in Safety Committee

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Related technical experience
- MHE experience(sit down forklift and pallet jack)
- MHE experience(stand up forklift, reach truck, clamp, and slip), preferred
- Scrubber, preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
