**Position Summary and Purpose**:

- **Blueprint Analysis**: Study blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine production methods.
- **Machine Operation**: Set up and operate CNC Lathes as needed, ensuring they meet specifications. Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds.
- **Quality Inspection**: Perform inspections on manufactured parts to maintain quality standards.
- **Data Entry**: Enter production data into the data collection system.
- **Cleanliness**: Maintain a clean working area at all times.
- **Safety**: Must follow all safety protocols. Safety boots and safety glasses at all times.

**Requirements**:
We're looking for A CNC Lathe Machinist who will meet the following requirements:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years' of dedicated CNC Lathe set-up and operating experience.
- **Precision Instruments**: Competency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection gauges.
- **Blueprint Reading**: Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- **Skills**: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, service-oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- **Physical Stamina**: Able to work 8-10 hours a day while standing.
- **Education**: High school diploma or GED. Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills

**Valued but Not Essential**:

- **Familiarity**: Experience with Mazak, OKUMA, G&M code, and/or FANUC controls is a plus.
- **Tools**: Own a locking toolbox with basic hand tools to start.

**Schedule**:

- 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (overtime required)
- A normal shift consists of 8-9 hours per day, Monday thru Friday.

**Compensation**:
$20.00 - $30/hour, determined based on qualifications and relevant expertise.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
