Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interpreter to join our team. As an Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication while offering tours to visitors. To be an ambassador of The Heritage Village and ensure every visitor has the best experience possible

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide interpretation services in person or remotely, ensuring to use accurate and interesting tours are received
- Adapt interpretation style and vocabulary to suit the needs of different audiences and contexts.
- Conduct research and gather relevant information to enhance exhibits and create new
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards.
- Collaborate with other interpreters and team members in all projects

**Skills**:

- Strong project management skills to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, assignments, and exhibits
- Proficient in written communication
- Ability to educate and relay history and cultures to visitors
- Familiarity with all tour guide books, catologuing system, and adhere with all protocols regarding the maintenance of all exhibits and artifacts
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for visitors
- Proficient in conducting research using various resources and databases.
- Leadership abilities to coordinate interpretation services and guide others when necessary.

This is a full time seasonal position

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
