We are looking for a **Financial Analyst** to join our **Vaughan office**. **This opportunity is a 20-month contract.**

The Financial Analyst plays an integral role in the analysis and reporting for the Practice Groups.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analysis and Reporting_
- Perform value added analysis including creating MS PowerPoint presentations and presenting results and findings;
- Perform and assist in the preparation and/or review of routine management reports and metrics;
- Produce allocation reporting for various expenses.
- Budgeting and Forecasting_
- Participate in the annual budget and forecast process for the Practice Groups;
- Assist with budgeting/forecasting of other allocated accounts.
- GL Account Review and Reconciliation_
- Perform financial analysis of various GL accounts impacting the Practice Groups.
- Credit Card Reconciliation_
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliations and ensure all expenses on credit card statements are accounted for.
- Ad-hoc_
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, reporting, special projects, and other related tasks as required, including assisting the Financial Reporting Team at year-end.

**What you'll bring**:

- Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Accounting or Finance;
- Working toward an Accounting designation - i.e. CPA;
- 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting/budgeting/forecasting/analytical and reporting;
- Law firm or professional services experience an asset;
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage tight deadlines;
- Experience with business intelligence tools, an asset.
