**Requirements**:
- Experience in Customer Service is considered an asset
- Established professional, empathetic, and engaged customer service model
- Team player
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks
- Verified record of punctuality/attendance and time management
**Physical Requirements**:
- Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, twist and lift up to 30 kg, and to work at counter height for up to an 8-hour shift
- Constant computer, POS, and bar equipment use at counter height
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing and/or rotation of the wrist and spine
- Efficient oral communication, receiving, interpreting, and providing detailed information to customers and employees
- Clarity of vision at near and/or far distance
- Occasionally be able to accurately distinguish and describe flavors and odours.
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions delivered both orally and in written format - and request clarification if necessary
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Positive attitude with a consistent display of professionalism

**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Previous coffeehouse or customer service experience
- Safe food handling certificate
- Knowledge and/or love of coffee and tea
- Commitment to fair and sustainable trade
- Creativity, humour and diverse life experience
