DEPARTMENT: Industrial Operations

Tenaris is looking for a Tooling Supervisor to join the Operations team. The Tooling Supervisor carries out purchase and stock of the tools, supplies and measurement instruments needed in the different lines, taking care about any tools lacking and keeping contact with the lines concerning any issue related to the tools for ERW Finishing and Welding Mill.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Checks the tools, supplies and measurement tools stock level. Monthly notices the stocks of every kind of tools, the annual inventory and the consumptions to be sent to Accounting.
- Contributes to the training of younger professionals and trainees in his/her area of expertise.
- Plans purchase orders (times and quantity) constantly verifying the consumptions and availability for the plant under his scope. Issues all the purchase requests for the tools and supplies of the plant (material manager). Coordinate with quality department the calibration of the measurement instrument.
- Guarantees the updating of the drawings' archives. Elaborates purchase' technical specifications and related drawings for Exiros, both for framework contracts and spot requests.
- Together with Warehouse, manages the whole process of taking charge of the tools and supplies inside the plant.
- Keeps relations with external suppliers and Maintenance (internal Mechanical Shop), in order to ensure prompt answers and suitable outputs in terms of tools regeneration and/or repair.
- Supports the Tools Manager and Technologist to define and analyze any "non conformity" related to materials under his responsibility.
- Supports the Technologist to define all technical specifications and issues related to slitter, welding, and ERW finishing process
- Together with Warehouse, supports the Tools Manager and Technologies to inspect the materials and supplies. Records the relevant certificates / inspection sheets.
- Complies with the energy consumption target/goals, carrying out the required actions that aim to save energy.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

**Experience, Education and Skills**
- An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role and proven supervisory experience
- Expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Able to understand and modify drawings
- Experience with CNC/manual lathes. Able to understand and modify lathe program
- Expertise in welding process for pipes manufacturing and tooling
- Expertise in managing budget for tools consumption
- Strong people management and development skills

**The schedule for this role is based on a Day shift with occasional on-call
