**Job Position: Pest Control Technician | Route Management & Insect Services**

Humane Solutions is a fast-growing, innovative pest and wildlife management company based in Vancouver, BC, and the only one fully committed to sustainable development. Our team is small, efficient, highly skilled, and known for our strong work ethic.

We have two primary divisions: eco-conscious pest control and cutting-edge, high-profile wildlife management. Our services range from helping individuals and businesses with common pests to assisting governments with challenges like beaver and predator management.

**About the Job**:
We are looking for a hands-on, experienced pest control technician.

Tasks include trap management, inspections, assessments, and insect control.

**Training & Support**:
We expect our technicians to think practically, act ethically, and be ready to work effectively. Bring your skills, and our team of internationally educated wildlife scientists and experienced managers will help fill in any gaps. Within weeks, no matter your background, you’ll be confidently handling the basics.

**Requirements**:

- A valid structural pesticide license.
- Experience in residential and commercial insect control.
- A valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Experience in skilled trades or as a handy person.

**Tasks**:

- Rodent management trap checks (no rodenticides or glue boards).
- Servicing premium commercial clients.
- Conducting inspections and site assessments.
- Insect control and treatments at residential and commercial sites.
- Innovating within sustainable insect control to reduce pesticide use.
- Working on ladders, roofs, and in confined spaces regularly.
- Maintaining communication with the office throughout the day.
- Providing excellent customer service.

**Wage**: $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and following any necessary training/probation period.
