**Machinist**

CNC Industries is looking for Machinists with experience using either **CNC Lathe machines, Mazak Turn/Mill Machines or DMG Mori Multi Spindle Machines.** The Machinist will have a strong machining/programming background, competent working on complex components for the Mining and Oil & Gas industry without compromising quality standards. We are looking for a positive, energetic, confident Machinists to run complex jobs on high end equipment in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- At all times, the Machinist will be responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of themselves and customers in an environmentally friendly manner
- Machine various oilfield and mining components in single or multiple operations, including performing complex programming if requested
- Monitoring machines - attention to all indicators to ensure efficiency
- Set-up and operate machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed controlled data; performing first article manufacturing when required
- Record measurements and fill out inspection log sheets as required
- Always document and report any deficiencies with recommended effective solutions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required
- Remain in constant communication with team members, Team Lead and Managers regarding specific jobs workflow, incidents and other
- Liaise with production personnel, programmers, and engineers or others to resolve any machining or assembly issues that may arise
- Always maintain a clean and organized work area; maintain all equipment and machines like new, following maintenance plans processes and procedures set out
- Required to run more than one machine when requested
- Other duties as assigned

**Profile and Required Skills**:

- Journeypersons Certificate or experience as a Machinist preferred
- Programming & editing with Mazatrol is an asset
- API threads on Weiler controls an asset
- Must be able read and interpret manufacturing drawings
- Experience in Oil & Gas and Mining machining

- Ability to work well autonomously and within a collaborative environment
- Must be open to continuous learning and improvement

**Physical requirements**
- Able to lift to 30lbs
- Fit to be walking, standing, bending, lifting and performing continuous and repetitive movements
- Own vehicle
- Able to work either Days or Nights, including weekends
