We are looking for an outgoing, energetic and motivated individual to join our team and help inspire patients on their path to better health. This position is ideally suited to someone with a background in health sciences or exercise physiology or a student in a manual therapy program (not a summer student). Position is permanent and students will need to be available in the fall.

Hours: Mondays 9 -1, Tues 1-8pm, Wed 830-1, Thurs 1-8 pm, Sat 9 - 1 pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work alongside Physiotherapists to execute patient treatment plans
- Formulate exercise programs for patients and educate patients on performing their home exercise programs
- Develop one-on-one exercise programs with individual patients to improve their overall health
- Application of modalities including IFC, Ultrasound, Laser, Heat/Ice packs.
- Assist with preparing patients for treatment including setting patients up on decompression table
- Ensure treatment rooms and gym area are presentable, organized and clean.
- Assist with laundry

**Requirements**:

- Excellent knowledge of exercise prescription/supervision.
- Need to be able to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
- Being registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario is an asset.
- Dynamic and energetic personality with a passion for promoting health and wellness.
- Embrace and promote clinical fitness approach with an ability to motivate and inspire patients during treatment.
- Understanding of clinical modalities such ultrasound and IFC is an asset.
- Excellent working knowledge of various computer programs like: MS Word
- Requires ~15-20 hours a week
- Required shifts will include Saturdays 9am-1pm and evening shifts until 8:00 pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
