**WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR**

PMC Logistics is a full-service company specializing in ambient, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse storage and distribution services, located in Delta, BC. We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time position for **Warehouse Supervisor**.

**Position Summary**

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting a number of operational components within the warehouse. The Supervisor will work with and manage a team to help unload and load containers, trailers and trucks with food product, both safely and efficiently. We are seeking an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can excel under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Our company is growing so we are looking for an individual who can help nurture our growth

**Key Responsibilities**

Duties as described, included but not limited to the following:

- Plan, organize, communicate, and run day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Help to ensure all incoming shipments are received correctly, efficiently and stored accurately.
- Help to ensure all outgoing shipments are picked, packed and loaded accurately and on time.
- Communicate with shipping/receiving coordinators to ensure the seamless operation of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure adherence to all company, provincial and federal Health and Safety regulations including CFIA and HACCP protocols.
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety within the warehouse.
- Clean and maintain supplies, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Order replenishment or maintenance services as required.
- Manage the warehouse team and resolve work/staff related issues as they arise.
- Train new team members in duties and policies within the warehouse. Conduct regular performance reviews.
- Desire to help wherever necessary including performing regular warehouse duties as necessary including picking, packing, forklift operation, etc.
- Carry out additional work-related duties and tasks as assigned by the employer.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum 1 years of previous supervision experience.
- Must have forklift certification or equivalent experience
- Experience operating a sit-down counterbalance, slip sheet, clamp, and stand-up is preferred. If no experience, willingness to learn is essential.
- Must be comfortable working in cold storage environments. Safety gear will be provided.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Ability to work cooperatively in teams as well as independently. Ability to manage staff effectively.
- Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter, critical thinker and enjoys problem solving.
- Decisive individual who is quick-thinking and can prioritize and schedule work.
- Ability to work under pressure with adherence to tight deadlines to meet customer expectations.
- Excels in an environment of growth and change as each day will be different
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven team leadership, effective employee relations and interpersonal skills.
- Safety conscious individual with the ability to ensure adherence to protocols.
- Ability to lift 50-70 lbs, as required. Ability to be on your feet moving throughout the day.
