Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Crew Planner** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. Reporting to the Manager, Crew Planning, the Crew Planner is responsible for a variety of functions revolving around crew planning including crewing levels and vacation assignment, crew travel and accommodation, and guidance for the crew schedulers. The job functions require a high level of expertise with crew scheduling software and interaction and coordination with co-workers, crew members other company departments.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Crew Planner** **include:

- Attend planning and scheduling meetings;
- Enter monthly schedules into the operating system
- Ensure monthly days off are assigned
- Build monthly pairings in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Company Operations Manual (COM), Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS), and other policies and procedures as applicable;
- Build monthly crew rosters according to the CARs, COM, FRMS and Collective Agreements
- Ensure that aircrew vacation is allocated annually by being responsible for the preparation, dissemination and collection of the vacation bid package;
- In conjunction with the Pilot and Inflight training departments assist in the development and scheduling of all classroom, ground, and simulator training;
- Analyze future schedules for crewing and budget impacts;
- Assist in staff planning and crewing level recommendations; and
- Such other duties as assigned by the company from time to time.

**Crew Scheduler Oversight**:

- Provide assistance to the crew schedulers;
- Provide excellent customer service and support to all crewmembers by adhering to respectful workplace practices and by providing correct policy, procedural, and regulatory information;
- Fill in for crew scheduler vacation, sickness or on an as required basis; and
- Such other duties as assigned by the company from time to time.

**Working Conditions**:
The Crew Planner will be required to work a variable schedule including holidays, weekends, and afternoon and night shifts as the needs of service dictate. The work environment is fast-paced, deadline driven, and ever changing. Overtime may be required. The Crew Planner is expected to work with mínimal supervision. Occasional travel may be required.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Completion of high school or equivalent;
- Three years of experience in a similar role, previous aviation experience is considered an asset;
- Intermediate level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the CARs;
- Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to work in stressful environment and manage multiple tasks effectively;
- Clear criminal record check; and
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
