**_POSITION_**: Delivery Driver (AZ or DZ)**

**LOCATION: Ottawa Facility (2448 Huntley Road, Stittsville, ON)**

**_RESPONSIBILITIES: _**
- Loading, transporting, and delivering finished glass to clients in a safe, and timely manner while providing excellent customer service
- Efficiently plan routes to minimize travel times to clients
- Ensure accuracy of orders before and after the delivery and notify management of error
- Assist with the unloading of glass on customer sites using safe lifting techniques and/ or lift assist machinery
- Report order errors, quality issues, and damages to management immediately
- Preform inspections, monitor wear and tear on trucks, and advise of any maintenance required
- Abide by all road safety rules and regulations, and report all violations, accidents or driving infractions to management
- Always represent Saand respectfully and professionally

**_WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR_**:

- Secondary school completion or GED an asset
- Valid AZ or DZ license with a clean driver’ abstract required
- Ability to operate a manual transmission an asset
- Sound knowledge of driving rules and regulations
- Strong communication skills, attentiveness, and a positive attitude
- Knowledge of road safety mandatory
- Moffet/Boom experience an asset

**_WORK EXPERIENCE: _**
- 3-5 years of experience operating a truck/trailer exceeding 10,000 lbs
- Operating a truck in the manufacturing or construction sector an asset
- Experience with long hauls, and cross-border deliveries
