IT Technician

**IT / COMPUTER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN**

As an IT/Computer Support Technician you will install, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wireless network, workstations, servers, peripheral equipment and data communications equipment.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:

- Completion of a college program in IT/computer science or network administration
- A minimum of two years of directly related experience would be an asset
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience working in an educational /business environment would be an asset
- Proficient with Windows Server and desktop OS, SCCM, Active Directory, VMWare, Cisco Networking Equipment and other software as required as well as firewall technology
- Knowledge of educational hardware (smartboard/ chrome notebooks) and software database such as STEM, POWER SCHOOL would be an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work individually as well as in teams

Starting Annual Salary: 40,000 to 50,000
