Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Teach the Igbo language, including speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Introduce cultural elements, history, and traditions related to the Igbo community.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize cultural events and language workshops to promote community involvement.
- Collaborate with other educators and community members to enhance language learning initiatives.
- Attend training meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, African Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Native or near-native proficiency in the Igbo language.
- Previous teaching experience, particularly in language instruction, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
