As a Bubble Tea/Ice Cream Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating unique and delicious beverages that will leave our customers coming back for more.

**Responsibilities**:
**Beverage and Treat Creation**:

- Prepare and assemble a variety of bubble tea drinks and ice cream treats according to established recipes.
- Ensure consistency and quality in each beverage and treat served.

**Ingredient Preparation**:

- Properly measure and prepare ingredients, including teas, syrups, boba pearls, ice cream bases, and toppings.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the management team to ensure timely restocking.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Operate and maintain bubble tea machines, ice cream makers, blenders, and other equipment.
- Follow proper cleaning and sanitization procedures to uphold hygiene standards.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering customer inquiries, and offering recommendations.
- Ensure a positive and friendly customer experience, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients, ensuring freshness and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with the team to implement improvements to recipes and processes.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other team members, including kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel, to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
- Assist in training new staff members on beverage and treat preparation.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Bubble Tea/Ice Cream Maker or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of bubble tea ingredients, flavor combinations, and ice cream production techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious treats.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for measuring and adjusting ingredient quantities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kitchener, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bubble Tea / Ice Cream Store: 1 year (required)
- Shawarma Store: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
