**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Comply with company safety program and policies.
- Work in a strong team environment and complete tasks as assigned.
- Strong communication skills.
- Asphalt labourers assist with the shoveling, smoothing and the setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, parking lots, etc.
- Look after the new asphalt mat-help identify and fix segregation.
- Building pads for the paver to start off of.
- Use hand tools, shovels, rakes, brooms, hand tampers, & spray cans
- Able to maintain a clean work site.
- Able to operate other equipment, ie: skidsteer, rollers, plate tampers is an asset.
- Able to work as a flagger in traffic is an asset.
- Complete daily equipment checklists.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Able to perform regular physical /labour and stand for long periods of time.
- Work closely with the paving Foreman and Superintendent and other crew members.

**Qualification Requirements**

2. Must have a valid drivers’ license.

3. Comply with all Saskatchewan’s traffic laws, Federal regulations, and safety requirements.

4. Have a strong work ethic and wanting to work in a team environment.

5. Have leadership qualities.

6. Strong communication skills.

7. May require pre-access drug testing for some sites.

**Preferred Skill**:

- Saskatoon based, but willing to travel.
