We are seeking a qualified SLP to work as an independent contractor in the Brantford, Hamilton, Haldimand, and surrounding areas. Our primary service provision is community rehabilitation, supporting primarily adult clients who are recovering from motor vehicle collisions, traumatic brain injures, stroke, dysphagia, voice, and cognitive communication disorders. We also support complex pediatric needs such as pediatric TBI, return to learn and play, and rare disease diagnoses. We perform clinical work with our clients where they function best - virtually, at home, school, work, or in the community.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

- **Perform initial assessments in Cognitive-Communication Disorders, Voice, Motor Speech, Dysphagia in clients following motor vehicle collisions (MVCs), concussions, workplace injuries, etc.**:

- **Provide individualized treatment to clients with various communication disorders and injuries**:

- **Support clients in setting and achieving meaningful goals using functional, project-based therapy approaches and evidence based practice**:

- **Collaborate with community partners as part of an interdisciplinary team, including other rehabilitation professionals and legal teams**

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Professional Liability Insurance
- SAC Membership preferred
- Driver's license and access to vehicle required
- Fluency in additional languages an asset
- Completion of CCCABI courses or additional voice-related PD an asset

Caseload offering is within Brantford, Hamilton, Haldimand and surrounding areas (with travel paid as approved).
