**The Program**

This program aims to reintegrate students into the school environment and reduce the risk of potential relapse through transformational positive experience, which fosters personal development and autonomy.

**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support to youth through a trauma-informed care perspective in a group setting.
- Connecting with schools when necessary
- Adhere to safety protocols ensuring the safety and well-being of youth.
- Planning/Conducting daily activities, and weekly workshops along with the program team lead.
- Adhere to standard health and safety procedures
- Other duties as required
- Child Protection training annually

- Encouraging and supportive
- Able to adapt to changing situations
- De-escalation skills
- Open Communication

**Education & Experience**
- Post-secondary schooling in Education or Human Services related field preferred
- 1-2 years of youth justice, child and youth care, social work, or human services experience is considered an asset but not required
- New graduates and students in school will be considered
- CPR and first aid certification
- Knowledge of experiential learning, strength-based practice, and trauma-informed care
