**Payroll Administrator**
**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate compiling and reconciliation of hours worked from time sheets and other records and sending to a third-party payroll company on a weekly basis.
**Here is what a typical day looks like**
- Compiling and reconciling hours worked from time sheets and other records on a weekly basis.
- Preparing payroll statements on a weekly basis.
- Submitting contributions to the company RSP.
- Completing Record of Employment forms for Employment Insurance and answering all requests for information concerning ROE’s.
- Assisting with the preparation, balancing and distribution of T4’s.
- Responding to any employee inquiries.
- Providing administrative support to our Executive Team as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
**The value you bring to our company**
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in payroll, specifically in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with recruitment and providing high-level administrative support.
- Accounting experience would be considered an asset.
- Experience with ADP software system would be considered an asset.
- Proficient oral and written skills and understanding of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel.
- Ability to establish interpersonal, cross-functional relationships.
- Organizational skills and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in-office Monday to Friday.
- Confidentiality is an absolute MUST for this role
