Foreman - Pools

We are looking to add pool service Foremen to our growing team. After another year of continued growth, we need to expand our service department yet again and are looking for experienced technicians to add another layer of skill to our diverse team. This role is a full time position and would ideally be a year round role with us. We aren't opposed to having layoffs for those looking to relax and reset in the off season, but the reality for many on our team is that a year round role is what is needed to provide for yourself and your family. There might be lots of expectations needing to live up to a brand that has been around for almost 60 years, but we will do everything we can to make sure you get every benefit we can afford for the best work provided.

Job Functions:

- Work in tandem to the Service Manager and work with other technicians to repair and install liners, pool equipment, run lines and install replacement winter covers
- Lead a crew of 1-2 other technicians on job sites daily after receiving direction from the Service Manager
- Work hands on with crew to ensure all projects are completed on time and to standards
- Coordinate and manage the work of other employees and sub-trades
- Help to diagnose and quote solutions and repairs for existing pools requiring rebuilding and upgrades
- Measure for new liners when rebuilding pools
- Measure for winter covers to prep for closing season
- Assist with the opening and closing of pools (both in the service department and for rebuilds)
- Provide guidance and assistance to new staff still in the learning process of becoming a full time technician
- Transition to shop work and spa work in the fall and winter if staying employed over the off season months

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years experience in the pool and spa industry
or similar trade
- Minimum 2 seasons of experience installing liners and safety covers
- Must have a full G license and clean driving abstract
- Able to meet seasonal labour demands and increased work loads during certain points of the year
- Needs to be physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of working outdoors
- Is able to take responsibility and ownership of their work, and provide value at every step for our customers
- Can communicate clearly and professionally with customers and clients
- An eye for detail and able to recognize and understand the full scope of all projects
- Career minded with the desire to grow themselves and the business
