We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team at Golden Palace Restaurant Inc. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting them with a warm welcome and ensuring they have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and maintaining cleanliness in the waiting area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and organize seating arrangements to accommodate guests promptly.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
- Monitor the waiting list and inform guests of estimated wait times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby and waiting areas.
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure calmly.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is an asset.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
