Dog Tales is a world-renowned dog rescue and farm animal sanctuary set on an idyllic 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills, and wooded areas in King City, Ontario.

The facility comes complete with a well equipped vet tech office as well as walking trails, therapy pools, outdoor play areas and a grooming spa. **About this Position**:
We are looking for full time dog handlers to ensure that our dogs are out of their rooms enjoying the great outdoors as much as possible throughout the day. Dog handlers work together to conduct afternoon playgroups, and assist senior handlers with training and rehabilitation. This is a physically demanding position and applicants must be comfortable on their feet all day and in all weather conditions Dog handlers must be confident working with dogs of various breeds, sizes, and personalities.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Dog handling experience - 1 year (preferred)
- Familiarity with positive reinforcement training techniques is an asset
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

- 5 days a week, with varied shifts of 7-4 and 12-9

- King City, ON: reliable access to a car is necessary as there is no public transit near our facility
