Behaviour Interventionist

**Job Posting**: Behaviour Interventionist in Beautiful Northern BC

Our agency is expanding, and we are hiring for Behaviour Consultants and Behaviour Interventionist
We are looking for a Behaviour Interventionist (BI) to join our multi-disciplinary team to work with children birth - 19 years of age. The Behaviour Consultant would use family-centered, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approaches to provide consultation, assessment, intervention and monitoring.
The position is permanent and can be full-time or part-time.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Use teaching methods to target specific program goals as directed by a Behavioural Consultant and implement teaching programs and other interventions as outlined on the student’s behavioural plan of intervention.
- Write accurate session notes and maintain files.
- Case management and report writing.
- Contribute to a strong team environment.
- Attending and participating in regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Collecting data, monitoring, recording and reviewing client progress with consultant and other team members.
- Develop, teach, and demonstrate the strategies of positive behaviour support.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Behaviour Technician training preferred.
- High school diploma, two years post-secondary education in a related field preferred (psychology, education, social work, etc.)

**Additional Requirements**:

- Current Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle for work use, preferred
- Available Monday to Friday, and be able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
