**Compensation**

**Salary**: $60,000 to $80,000 per year.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- 2-5 years of playground installation experience
- Priority will be given to applicants who also have 2-5 years of experience across a broad range of landscaping construction site work (concrete, masonry, carpentry, site layout, site grading, water features, et cetera.)
- Experience successfully running a 3-5 person team
- Can skillfully operate all levels of equipment (skid steers, excavators etc.)
- Ability to understand site layouts and drawings
- Ability to layout at site to match the drawings provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and 80 lbs assisted
- CPSI Certified or a willingness to do so
- Possess full Ontario Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Priority will be given to those that have a D or A license

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Provide updates to the General Construction Manager
- Ability to effectively manage and run a 3-5 man team
- Manage time and goals for the team
- Successfully manage your construction team on a tight timeline
- A team player, able to work without supervision
- Willing to join another team depending on the work that needs to be done
- Provide goal setting and motivation for your team
- Train and coach team
- The position involves travel and overnight stays
- Team work and individual initiative to put in over-time required to get the job completed on time

All the while working on signature parks and play spaces all across Canada.

**The Role**

We are looking for a Lead Hand to join our construction team to help with the installation of our equipment and general construction projects. Although this role will have a focus on the installation of playground equipment, you will also participate on crews that will install Splash pads, Shelters, Pavilions and General Landscape Construction.
