**About Us**

Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.

**The Role**

As the main contact of the regulatory compliance program, you are responsible for coordinating all regulatory compliance activities at the Key Lake location. Working under the single point of contact for compliance to the site operating license you are responsible for coordination and tracking of action plans, inspections, audits, and reporting requirements to meet regulatory commitments.

**In this role, you will**:

- Review and coordinate correspondence between Key Lake and the regulatory agencies this includes establishing and maintaining a database for regulatory actions required, coordinating efforts required of others on site in order to meet regulatory actions, and submissions
- Facilitate all onsite regulatory inspections and audits, create action plans to address inspection and audit findings
- Provide SHEQ departmental supervision when required

**Required**:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent experience level will be considered
- 8+ years of supervisory experience or experience in SHEQ (safety, radiation, environment and quality) at a uranium mine site or related work area
- Experience with regulatory compliance and communication
- Experience coordinating activities necessary to achieve and maintain compliance
- Environmental, Safety and/or radiation protection experience
- Experience communicating with regulators
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

- P.Eng or P.Geo
