**What you bring to the table**
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of brokering truckloads, negotiating rates, carrier development, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and tracking shipments
- Excellent knowledge of the transportation industry
- Data Entry Skills
- Working knowledge of Load link and other Load boards
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as a team and perform other duties as requested
- Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated

**Responsibilities**
- Efficiently Search, Schedule, Plan and Dispatch Trucks & Drivers
- Prepare dispatch documents
- Monitor driver’s logs for errors or violations
- Continually track the shipments to ensure all appointments are met within designated timelines
- Ensure all information has been updated within the system.
- Building and maintaining relationships with carriers
- Broker freight for Canadian and US Customers for both LTL and FTL shipments
- Communicating with customers about freight detail, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests
- Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply.
- Work with a variety of departments to ensure functioning operations
- Finding LTL loads for any extra space left on trailer
- Prioritizing orders, monitoring trips to completion and initiating communication with customers when required.
- Mentoring and supporting drivers as necessary.
- Answer after-hours calls

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dispatcher
- Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS), such as Samsara and Tailwind is an asset
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
- Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws.
- Knowledge in Brokerage and border clearance
