Sas Analyst

**Tenure**: Full-Time

**Location**: 2206 Eglinton Ave East, Suite 190. Scarborough, ON M1L 4S8

**Hours**: Monday - Friday (11:00AM - 7:30PM)

**Salary**: $45,000 - $50,000/year

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Summary**:
The SAS Analyst is responsible for ensuring the programming deployment of our data collection is error free. SAS is the tool used to cleanse, test multiple cases and verify all programming requirements are met. The person will assist in ensuring all codes are accurate before going live with data collection.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Learn and develop a thorough understanding of the market research processes and
- tools used in conducting the research from a technical standpoint.
- Translate the logic involved in a project into SAS codes in a timely fashion.
- Generate test data and ensure its validity using SAS in accordance to the project
- specifications.
- Test, identify and resolve all the issues in the projects which can affect the collection
- of valid data on a day-to-day basis.
- Maintain the written SAS codes and the respective project documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a numerate discipline.
- Understanding of basic statistics.
- Should have PC skills, knowledge of statistical software packages (particularly SAS), good organizational skills, good communication skills (oral and written), good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient using SAS

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, perform well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Excellent oral and writing skills.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
