The Warehouse Supervisor** **is a hands-on position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy warehouse. This includes maintaining staff on task through sound management, organizational and communication skills, while continuing to develop, support and motivate employees in a positive environment.

**Major Areas of Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all warehouse activity of the facility
- Ensure compliance with government agencies and health & safety regulations are maintained with respect to personnel and equipment
- Regularly communicate with staff and liaise with manager regarding maintenance activity
- Resolve and report any issues that may arise to the Plant Manager
- Assist in employee performance evaluation
- Enforce compliance of company policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment
- Assess and address areas for continuous improvement in and around the plant to improve efficiency, safety and cost
- General housekeeping of work area
- Other duties as required
- Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times

**Other Areas of Responsibilities**:

- Ensures effective use of warehouse space and observes proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of products to maintain quality of finished goods in order to prevent product damage and avoid occurrences of pilferage, accidents and occupational hazards
- Picking customer orders and loading various types of vehicles.
- Product storage should be current and well organized
- Ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained through SCT’s and PO’s.
- Receive goods in ERP System (Syspro)
- Ensure inventory is well organized, properly labelled and accurate at all times
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and annual inventory
- Responsible for reporting, maintaining and improving the performance of the warehouse as it relates to sales, customer service and other related areas

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, ERP Software)
- Possess strong leadership and managerial skills using a hands-on approach
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to work to meet deadlines
- Confident, able to make sound decisions and resolve issues that arise
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
- Effective communicator with co-workers and all levels of management
- Flexible, innovative, and comfortable setting own priorities
- Thrives working in a very fast-paced environment
- Willingness/flexibility to learn roll-forming and other processes as required

**Education/Certification/Experience**:

- Industry knowledge in exterior building products
- Forklift and bedmover experience and certification
- First Aid Certification
- Previous warehouse experience
