We provide turnkey supply-chain service for construction material as well as crating/packaging/marshalling and shipping via Sealift, Ground Transport & Air. We manage the logistics and provide excellent customer service support along the way, by planning and paying attention to every detail.

**Position: Shipper**

**Shipper Role**:
This contract position entails gathering shipping & receiving material on the warehouse floor and coordinating the delivery of materials. Is good at planning and working under pressure with extremely deadlines.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Coordinating the shipping arrangements for all customer packages to their specified locations
- Contact carrier representatives to schedule pick-ups and provide them with the proper delivery instructions. (Dubois Transport, Canadian North, and other Freight companies)
- Responsible for scheduling all appointments with the Ports (NEAS and NSSI)
- Responsible for labelling all orders ready for shipment accurately.
- Record all shipping data such as weight, dimensions, charges, rates, and space availability.
- When dealing with a discrepancy to immediately report the issue to the Operations Manager or Purchasing Manager to rectify the issue in a timely manner
- Aid with any transportation issue/damages
- Determine shipping methods using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Enter specific shipping data into our computer system “Perform.”
- Responsible for Dangerous Goods labels and declarations
- Responsible for creating all Bill of Ladings, air waybills and Canada Post labels.
- Responsible for truck audits (Dubois Transport)
- Handles all PODs.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Strong prioritization and organization skills
- Outgoing and willing to work extra hours.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Clear and concise communicator
- Team player
- Experience operating a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment an asset.
- Be able to lift material up to 50 lbs.
- Bilingual in English/French would be an asset.

**Salary**: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
